Welcome to the San Gabriel Valley Math Council!
The San Gabriel Valley Math Council was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organization run by hardworking, dedicated volunteers. We are an organization of teachers and educators of mathematics dedicated to serving teachers and educators of mathematics.
The SGVMC is an affiliate of the California Mathematics Council (CMC). We represent thousands of teachers in the San Gabriel Valley who serve many thousand students in our area. Our goal is to improve the teaching of mathematics in the San Gabriel Valley so all our students can learn and enjoy mathematics, and find it purposeful in their lives.
